Oslo thief legs it with 42in TV

A WOMAN has been arrested for shoplifting after walking out of a store in the Norwegian capital Oslo with a 42in colour TV between her legs.

Police apprehended the woman, accompanied by her boyfriend, after she hobbled to the exit with her skirt covering the electrial appliance.

The woman, a Romanian, told officers after being arrested that she had “very strong thigh  muscles”.

Tor Grøttom at Oslo police HQ said: “We wondered at first if this was impossible but then we tried it at the station with  female officers. It is hard – but not impossible.”
