Obama makes first trip to Myanmar
On his first trip abroad since the re-election campaign, President Barack Obama will seek to reinforce American influence in south-east Asia despite the large shadow cast by China.
He will become the first US president to visit Myanmar, as well as Cambodia.
The four-day trip, which began yesterday, is the president’s fourth to Asia.
