Nigeria: Extremists ‘execute’ kidnapped Briton

A BREAKAWAY Islamic extremist group said yesterday it killed seven foreigners kidnapped from northern Nigeria, according to an online message.

The message, identified as coming from Ansaru, could not be verified, though it included photographs the group claimed showed the dead, who were kidnapped in February. The kidnapped included one Briton, three Lebanese citizens and one each from Greece, Italy and the Philippines – all employed by Setraco, a Lebanese construction firm operating in Bauchi state.
