Net gain for folk hero fish farmer
Vietnam’s high court has reversed rulings approving the attempted eviction of a fish farmer whose armed stand-off with police galvanised the nation and earned him widespread sympathy.
Judges ruled that courts in the northern port city of Hai Phong had erred by upholding an order to evict Doan Van Vuon and his family from their land.
