Military exercise set to rile Russians
UKRAINE'S president Viktor Yushchenko yesterday oversaw exercises involving 1,000 troops, seven aircraft and five ships off the Crimean peninsula, a potential flashpoint between his country and Russia.
Ukraine wants to evict Russia from its naval base in Crimea when Moscow's lease expires in 2017.
