Maine ‘gun for every home’ plan rejected

RESIDENTS of a small town in the American state of Maine have rejected a proposal that would have required a gun to be held in every home.

About 50 registered voters in Byron – population about 145 –voted against an article that said: “Shall the town of Byron vote to require all households to have firearms and ammunitions to protect the citizens?”
