Let's go for Mars landing, says Aldrin

SPACE pioneer Buzz Aldrin, 79, the second man to walk on the moon, said yesterday that the world should press on with establishing a human settlement on Mars as "a wonderful objective" for humanity.

Space exploration could offer younger generations much-needed goals, he added.
