Lawyer fined
AN AUSTRIAN judge presiding over the trial of 16 suspects charged in an cable-car fire that killed 155 people ordered an American lawyer to turn over his watch and change yesterday for failing to pay a fine.
Judge Manfred Seiss took the step after Ed Fagan showed up in court without paying a 5,133 fine for practicing law in Austria without a license.
