Israel took body parts without asking

ISRAEL has admitted forensic specialists harvested body parts from victims, including Palestinians, without permission from their families during the 1990s.

The then head of Israel's main forensic institute, Dr Jehuda Hiss, told a US academic in 2000 that corneas were taken from bodies without family consent. The interviewer has decided to release the information now.
