Israel hit by rocket in ‘retaliation strike’

A ROCKET fired from Gaza exploded in Israel yesterday, the first such attack since a November truce.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades called the rocket a “first response” to Palestinian Arafat Jaradat’s death in disputed circumstances in an Israeli jail on Saturday.
