Hunger striker dies of protest burns

Hundreds of Albanians have attended the funeral of a former political prisoner who died three weeks after setting himself on fire during a hunger strike.

Lirak Bejko, 47, died last week in a hospital in Italy from burns covering about half his body. He was buried yesterday.
