Human sacrifice remains excavated
Archaeologists have turned up the remains of dozens of human sacrifice victims in a field in central Mexico which was the site of a small shrine between 660 and 860AD. Such finds are rare outwith a major pyramid or temple complex.
As many as 200 adult skulls or their equivalent in bones parts have been excavated so far.
