Guantanamo Bay hunger strike grows

A HUNGER strike among prisoners at Guantanamo Bay now includes 21 men.

Navy Captain Robert Durand said yesterday eight are being fed with a liquid nutrient mix to prevent dangerous weight loss. Two are in the prison hospital being treated for dehydration.

Lawyers for the prisoners say the men are protesting over their indefinite confinement.
