Gerard Depardieu wants to make a movie in Chechenya

FILM star Gerard Depardieu, who received a Russian passport from president Vladimir Putin last month, has said he wants to make a movie in Chechnya.

The actor left his French homeland to avoid a planned 75 per cent tax on millionaires. Depardieu visited Grozny on Sunday, attending a feast with president Ramzan Kadyrov, above, and dancing at a reception, right.
