Fire protest man dies from injuries

A MAN died yesterday after setting himself on fire outside the Italian parliament last week because he wanted to highlight his struggle with unemployment, police said.

Angelo di Carlo, 54, suffered 85 per cent burns after the incident in front of the lower house of parliament in central Rome during the early hours of 11 August.
