Farmer ‘eaten by his pigs’

A FARMER in the US has apparently been eaten by his pigs.

Terry Garner, 70, did not return after he set out to feed his animals on his farm near the Oregon coast.

A family member later found his dentures and pieces of his body in the pigsty, but most of his remains had been consumed.

The district attorney’s office said it was possible Mr Garner had a heart attack, or was knocked over by the animals before he was killed. But criminal activity has not been ruled out.

Police said the pigs – which weigh up to 50 stones – had been aggressive with or had bitten Mr Garner previously.
