Disney World monorail crash kills driver
TWO monorail trains crashed yesterday in the Magic Kingdom section of Walt Disney World, in Florida, killing one train's operator, emergency officials said.
The transit system, which shuttles thousands of visitors around each day, was shut down while authorities investigated.
The monorail operator, who has not been named, died at the scene of yesterday's crash, said Bo Jones, deputy chief for Reedy Creek Fire Department. The other train operator was not injured, but was hospitalised suffering for shock.
Mr Jones added that five park guests were treated at the scene, though the Orange County Sheriff's office said six were treated.
