Cypriot leader hails 'revolution'
TURKISH Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat, has described his resounding electoral victory as "a silent revolution".
Mr Talat, 53, who captured 56 per cent of the vote in yesterday’s race for the presidency, pledged to work toward solving the decades-long division of Cyprus by restarting peace efforts with Greek Cypriots.
