'Cuba bomber plan' denied by Moscow
REPORTS that Russia was considering basing nuclear-capable bombers in Cuba have been denied by defence chiefs in Moscow.
The newspaper Izvestia cited an anonymous air force official as saying it could happen in response to US plans to place elements of a missile-defence system in eastern Europe. But the defence ministry denied it.
