Corruption probe blow to HK chief

Hong Kong’s development secretary resigned yesterday amid news of his arrest by the city’s anti-corruption agency, dealing a fresh blow to the city’s new leader Leung Chun-ying.

Mr Leung, who is ensnared in a scandal over six illegal structures at his £40 million home, made Mak Chai-kwong his development minister barely two weeks ago.
