Burmese Buddhists protest attacks

More than 100 monks in Burma have demonstrated at Bangladesh’s embassy to protest attacks against Buddhist temples.

Yesterday’s protests followed the 30 September riots in Bangladesh’s coastal district of Cox’s Bazar, where 10 temples and 40 homes were torched after a photo of a burned Koran was posted online, allegedly by a Buddhist.
