Beer drinkers set Oktoberfest record
Revellers at Germany’s Oktoberfest downed a record 7.5 million litres of beer during the 17-day party which ended on Monday, official figures show.
The festival drew 6.9 million visitors, organisers said, noting there were 58 brawls in which mugs were used as weapons.
