Barack Obama effigy found in Carter hometown
THE US Secret Service is investigating after an effigy of President Barack Obama was found hanging by a noose from a building in the hometown of former president Jimmy Carter.
A Secret Service spokesman said that the large doll was found on Saturday morning in Main Street in the small town of Plains. The doll was hanging in front of a sign that says "Plains, Georgia. Home of Jimmy Carter, our 39th President."
