13 children die in orphanage blaze
A FIRE killed 13 children aged between two and 15 at an orphanage in South Africa yesterday.
Officials said police had not established what caused the blaze.
A total of 15 people died, including the person in charge of the Hope of Christ Home – a social welfare organisation – in KwaZulu-Natal province. Nine people were being treated for serious burns in hospital.
