Emilie Lumineau, Edinburgh resident and digital marketer has created three beautiful images showing what the city would look like if lockdown continued for a very long time and nature took over.

Emilie said: “I was out walking in the city centre for my daily walk and it was so empty.

“I just thought about what it might look like if we all had to stay indoors for a very long time.

“I’ve seen the stories about different places around the world that have wild animals now roaming the streets.

“It feels like nature is returning.”

The 24 year old studied creative advertising at Edinburgh Napier and was able to photoshop up the pictures.

Scotland has now been in lockdown for over a month and Nicola Sturgeon will be announcing a decision on whether to extend it on May 7.
