Hunt on for porky pets
FAT pets are being sought to take part in a weight loss campaign with the help of vets from Edinburgh's PDSA hospital.
The veterinary charity is relaunching its pet slimming competition and looking for overweight pets to be put on a free six-month diet and fitness programme.
Last year's competition was won by Amber the cat, who shed 17 per cent of her body weight. Her owner, Penny Faulkner, said: "PDSA's Pet Fit Club competition has totally changed Amber's life."
