Hunt launched in Highlands to find missing 77-year-old walker

POLICE have appealed for information about a missing 77-year-old walker in the Highlands.

Roger Fletcher was last seen setting off from a holiday home in Bundalloch, near Dornie, at 8.30am on Sunday morning for a walk.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “He walks with a stoop and uses two walking poles to assist him.

“He has white coloured hair and wears glasses. It understood he may have a small khaki coloured rucksack with him.

“It is believed that Roger was walking around the Bundalloch and Camuslighne area but did not arrive at his collection point.

“Anyone who was walking in this area or who is going out there today is asked to look out for Roger and contact the police on 101 or speak to any officer.”
