Hundreds walk in memory of knife victim

The mother of a murdered man has thanked everyone who turned up to a memorial walk yesterday, saying they gave her "hope".

A murder hunt is under way after Paul Douglass, 20, (below) was found with serious injuries in Mallard Close, East Kilbride.

He died in hospital later.

Yesterday about 300 people took part in a walk in the town to honour Paul's life and raise awareness of knife crime. Maureen Douglass, 52, said her son had touched the lives of everyone he had met.
