In a letter this week (18 April) concern is expressed regarding the effect on social housing stock if the Scottish Government does not follow through on its decision to abolish “right to buy”.

Now, I’m almost certainly being fantastically thick here but I do not understand how if, instead of buying a council house a tenant continues to rent the house for the next 30 years, this makes it available for anyone else to rent. No doubt some kind person will explain.
