Hospital given a grand sum
MORE than £1000 has been raised to help provide an information point at the Capital's Royal Hospital for Sick Children.
A festive book sale on December 4 – organised by the Calton House branch of the Scottish Prison Service Benevolent Fund – was held at the Prison Service's headquarters, at the Gyle, Edinburgh.
A cheque for 1055 has now been presented to Claire Edwards, director of the Special Needs Information Point at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.
The information point provides support to parents of children with special needs.
