Homecoming Festival cancelled as licence is refused
A DANCE music festival due to take place in Ayrshire has been cancelled over safety fears.
A licence has been refused by North Ayrshire Council for the Homecoming Festival, due to take place at Irvine Beach Park on 2-3 May.
The council said a licence was granted subject to conditions being met, but that these were not fulfilled.
Organisers said ticket holders will be refunded.
