Hit show still cooking for 21st time
READY Steady Cook has become the longest-running cookery show on British television, after being recommissioned for a 21st series.
The BBC said yesterday that the show, fronted by Ainsley Harriott on BBC2, will be filmed in high definition to "make the food look tastier than ever". Cast members from the BBC's popular soap The Archers will also pop up in the new series.
BBC Daytime's winter schedule will also see a house kitted out with counterfeit goods for a new BBC1 series called Fake Britain.
