Hirsutes you, sire, as William airs beard in public
AN admirer gave Prince William a Christmas kiss yesterday as the public got their first glimpse of the heir to the throne's new beard.
Debbie Bartlett, 50, of King's Lynn, Norfolk, kissed William on the cheek as members of the Royal Family left a church service on the Queen's estate at Sandringham.
Female opinion about the beard was divided – but William told one well-wisher that he was planning to shave it off in any event. William was joined at the service by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.
