Hill path work finish in sight

WORK to widen the main access route to North Berwick Law is close to completion.

The conservation project is coming to an end after two months of graft by volunteers which saw local stone being used to create steps and improve the surface of the path.

Duncan Priddle, a countryside officer, said: “Over the years North Berwick Law has suffered a bit with the number of visitors wearing down the main path or, indeed, creating a number of additional paths.”
