High 5: Ross Douglas
Ross Douglas, 36, a blogger from Balgreen, reveals the city places that make him feel most nostalgic.
1 Edinburgh Zoo I met my first love there and I'm still reminded of her whenever I think of the zoo.
2 Princes Street Gardens My favourite way to spend a Sunday. Watching the world go by there is something so enjoyable you should have to pay a fee.
3 Farm Road from Westburn to Currie When I was young that road was a place where anything could happen. Fantasy took over.
4 Waverley Station Walking up from the station after spending time away from Edinburgh is the only time I truly appreciate the phrase "you never really miss something 'til it's gone".
5 Hutton's Rock, Arthur's Seat It has peered out over Edinburgh since before there was an Edinburgh to speak of.
