Three Scots may have swine flu
A MOTHER, father and daughter have become probable cases of swine flu, the Scottish Government said.
The three recently returned from a holiday in Florida, health secretary Nicola Sturgeon said yesterday.
And efforts are under way to trace passengers sitting near them on the homeward flight, when the family were showing flu symptoms.
The three – a mother aged 39, a 43-year-old father, and their ten-year-old daughter, from the Forth Valley area – are being treated and monitored at home and have all had mild symptoms.
The development takes Scotland's swine flu tally to ten confirmed, three probable, and three possible cases.
