Tartan Ball raises £50,000
A STAR-studded fundraising ball in the Capital raised a total of £50,000 for the Breast Cancer Campaign.
The Pink Tartan Ball at the Balmoral Hotel was hosted by former Scotland rugby captain Andy Nicol and featured motor racing legend Sir Jackie Stewart as star guest.
October's event, which was backed by Zara Phillips and included an auction featuring signed Kylie Minogue memorabilia, was organised by staff from the private Edinburgh bank, Adam and Company.
A similar event, called the Pink Ribbon Ball, has been running in London for the past 13 years.
