Survey results show a healthy improvement

THE penny is dropping with Scots when it comes to linking a healthy lifestyle with wellbeing, the health secretary has said.

In the Scottish Health Survey three-quarters of Scots said their health was good or very good, while just seven per cent rated their health as bad, or very bad.

Nicola Sturgeon said: "Scotland has been seen as the 'sick man of Europe' and these findings provide evidence people north of the Border are beginning to see the link between lifestyle and good health."
