Stroke help rolled out

A PROGRAMME created on the back of a two-year Lothian-led project to help stroke survivors has been rolled out across Scotland.

The Stroke Workbook and a training programme for health professionals was developed to encourage individuals to self-manage their condition.

Stroke survivors were among those who contributed to the NHS Lothian initiative, before the programme was launched yesterday by Public Health Minister Michael Matheson.
