Sir Tom backs Booby Birds
SIR Tom Farmer has backed a group of high-flying businesswomen who are planning a skydive to raise money for breast cancer charities.
The Booby Birds, who are aiming to raise 400,000, are holding a gala dinner at the Paramount Carlton Hotel on August 31.
Comedian Fred MacAulay will auction prizes including a T-shirt signed by Kylie Minogue and a holiday to Barbados. Sir Tom, who is sponsoring a table at the dinner, said: "The Booby Birds are to be commended for their determination to make a difference.
"I urge you to join me in getting behind the team, to give them the encouragement, help and cash they deserve."
