Sex may hold key to treating autism

A NATURAL hormone released in the brain during sex might hold the key to treating autism.

Scientists have discovered people with the lifelong learning disability were much better at communicating socially after inhaling the "cuddle chemical" oxytocin.

Researchers at the National Centre of Scientific Research in Bron, France believe it could be turned into a "wonderdrug" for autism and related personality disorders, such as Asperger's syndrome.
