Scientists make TB breakthrough

Recurring TB infections may be partly explained by the bacteria’s ability to shelter in bone marrow stem cells, scientists believe.

A study has confirmed that tuberculosis bugs can lie dormant in the bone marrow for lengthy periods of time.
