Price cut doubles medicine sales
PREPAID prescriptions sales in Scotland have soared since charges were cut, figures revealed yesterday.
Four-month prepay certificates sales doubled – and 12-month certificates more than doubled. Health secretary Nicola Sturgeon hailed the figures as a sign of helping those with long-term conditions.
