‘Postcode lottery’ warning over care

There is a “postcode lottery” of available care and support for people living with muscle-wasting conditions, a charity has warned.

Many patients who suffer from lung and heart difficulties associated with muscular dystrophy are not receiving potentially life-saving regular check-ups, the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign said.
