New chief nursing officer named

A NEW chief nursing officer for Scotland has been appointed.

Ros Moore, the director of nursing at NHS Connecting for Health, will be responsible for professional, policy and organisational advice on nursing, midwifery and public health nursing within the Scottish Government and to NHS Scotland. She is expected to take up the 95,000-a-year post early in the new year.
