New chief in fight against chronic pain
TENS of thousands of Scots who suffer from chronic pain could be helped by the appointment of a new specialist doctor.
Dr Peter Mackenzie, announced by public health minister Shona Robison as the new lead clinician for chronic pain, will develop services to help the estimated 18.1 per cent of adults who suffer from the condition.
