Medicine leaves 3 dead
THREE people died in the Lothians last year because of the adverse effects of medicine.
The figures were released during Question Time at the Scottish Parliament, and reveal the number of people who have died in the last year where the underlying cause has been listed as the adverse effect of drugs and medicine in therapeutic use.
The figure is in keeping with the national average.
