How you can help

The Evening News is urging readers to make a donation this Christmas to help fund the work of the Teenage Cancer Trust in Edinburgh.

You can:

• Donate online by visiting www.edinburghnews.com/christmasappeal

• Send a cheque, payable to Teenage Cancer Trust, to Teenage Cancer Trust Appeal, 92 Craiglockhart Drive South, Edinburgh EH14 1JU.

If you are organising a festive fundraiser or charity collection, please consider giving to the Teenage Cancer Trust. We will publicise your event and include the name of any company involved in our Roll of Honour.

What your money will do:

Teenage Cancer Trust is aiming to open a special unit at the Western General Hospital where teenage patients will feel most comfortable. TCT units are filled with computers, TVs, games consoles, pool tables and kitchens – so young patients can avoid hospital food!

Your donations will go towards the cost of opening the Trust’s first unit in Edinburgh and to help provide real-hair wigs – with the help of top hairdresser Charlie Miller – for teenagers undergoing chemotherapy.
