Hospital reopens its doors to children

A CHILDREN’S ward that refused to admit patients for three weeks because of a staff shortage has returned to full service.

Bosses at NHS Lothian had suspended admissions at St John’s Hospital in Livingston, but officials say staffing is now sufficient.
