Heart-attack myths 'put lives at risk'

PEOPLE could be putting their lives at risk by believing that on-screen "Hollywood heart attacks" represent real life, a charity warned yesterday.

Dramatic scenes of people collapsing and clutching their chests in extreme pain are the norm on TV and in films, the British Heart Foundation said. But the symptoms of a heart attack can be far more subtle and easier to ignore.
